TVRCC are launching our first ever Novice ONLY track day!

This track day has been put together with education and support in mind. The track day will be held on Wednesday 12th August at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire.

On the evening of Tuesday 11th August, we have arranged an optional local overnight hotel stay at The White Swan in Scotter. Our experienced world class instructors (Colin + Helen Elstrop), will be delivering an after-dinner talk, where you can ask any questions and gather technical advice ahead of your day on track. The evening will include accommodation for just £75 (double occupancy rate if you're bringing a partner or friend) and a 2 course meal with a set menu at £22.95 per head).

The Main Event: The Track Day!

Note: This track day is aimed at complete beginners and novice drivers ONLY.

Blyton is perfect for drivers of all experience levels. Conceived as a fast, challenging but ultimately forgiving circuit, Blyton Park offers an opportunity for drivers of all levels to practice car control in a safe and friendly environment. With very little armco, barriers, banks and pit walls, the flowing track plays host to multiple motorsport events, driving experiences, track days, manufacturer testing and much more.This track day will allow you to build confidence, sharpen your handling, and tackle every twist and turn with precision.

We will have a maximum of 24 cars morning and afternoon and only 6 out on track at any one time.

Driving Instruction

Every driver will receive an instruction session included in the price. Our expert instructors will be on hand to provide you with one instruction session during your day. If you’re looking to book an additional instruction session, these are available to book for just £25 (15min session)

Passengers & Additional Drivers

To avoid distraction, passengers are limited to 1 per driver at a cost of £10.

Track Day Itinerary - A guide to how we plan to run the day

We are running the whole of this track day in 15 min sessions, this means there will only ever be 6 cars on track at any point in time.

07:00 Circuit Open for Arrival

07:30: Sign in with TVRCC + Noise Testing (Static 105db + Drive By 95db)

08:30 Safety Briefing commences in the briefing room. Safety Briefing delivered by our experienced instructors.

09:00 Sighting Laps

09:00-09:00 Sighting Laps led by our instructors 9:00 to 9:10am, 9:10 to 9.20am, 9:20 to 9:30am.

09:30 - 12:30 - Instruction 15 minute sessions, starting with 1st timers from 9:30am.

12:30 - 13:00 Break for Lunch at the onsite café or bring your own lunch

12:30 for Afternoon Half Day Sign in with TVRCC (we will ask you to come a little earlier for afternoon Noise Testing) Noise limits - Static 105db + Drive By 95db)

1pm Safety Briefing commences in the briefing room. Safety Briefing delivered by our experienced instructors.

1:30pm Sighting Laps

1:30pm - 2pm Sighting Laps led by our instructors 1:30pm to 1:40pm, 1:40pm to 1:50pm, 1:50pm to 2pm.

2pm - 5pm - Instruction 15 minute sessions, starting with 1st timers from 2pm.
